Wedding Bands/Rings - what's the protocol?

May sound odd but I really don't know! Do I pick out his and he picks out mine? Do we go to the jeweler and choose together?

When should this take place? I think I'm pretty on track with my planning and this just occurred to me :)

However makes you both happy, FH wants to surprise me with my ring so I am letting him. It's one less thing I have to think about and he is happy he is surprising me!

We went together to get an idea of price & what we liked but to each their own. Do what makes you both happy :)

We went shopping together and picked our own rings. Mine matched my e-ring which I also picked.

We picked ours out together.. we basically looked at ones we both liked and agreed on each others. It was much easier that way.

We picked out our own. I picked out my engagement ring and it was part of a set. He gave me a price range and said pick what you want. He got off easy bc the set I loved was super cheap! Then he held on to it for months before he proposed so it would be somewhat of a surprise.
