where did you guys get your wedding bands?? I went to a jeweler last night, and they wanted $2900 for a 2 ctw eternity band. Anyone getting/god something like this? If so, how much did it cost?

I'm looking at something similar, but only 1 carat weight (to match the width of my eternity engagement ring), and I've been quoted $2000 and $1700 so far. These were from wholesalers. I'm in LA as well. Maybe try someone in the diamond district in the city? I think jewelry stores put big mark ups on things...

I was quoted 2000 for a 2 ct eternity wedding band. I've decided against an eternity band though and am going with a 2 ct , 5 stone ring instead (much larger diamonds this way).

I saw this at Zales for about 1300 it was 1 carat the salesman told me this ring usually go on sale to for 1k. Hth

my family jeweler has his own store in manhattan but he also has a booth at attias and he really knows everything and is reasonable priced! it took me an hour to pick out my wedding band because there were too many I liked! It is ricky n co second one when you walk in entrance on left

It would be quite a hike for you. My jeweler is on Staten Island. The bright side is that you know it can be done.
ETA: Go to the Diamond District. The prices are significantly lower than jewelry stores elsewhere.

Mine was less than $1k, but I can't remember the ctw. I will ask him when I go pick it up this week and let you know!

That's a U shape eternity band- being that the U's are holding the diamonds in and the diamond is completely visible!
You should definitely go to the diamond district and walk in and out of each store.
You'll find an affordable one-

I got a 2 karat eternity band but I think it was aprox 2600... Not too much less then what you were quoted but still less

I got pretty much the same ring you are looking for, a U-prong eternity band about 2.3 carats in platinum for $2600. I got it at Tri-County. HTH

i think it is 2.75 carat in white gold
from gold star jewelers
and it was $2K
i think originally they wanted $2500 but i talked them down a bit

go to peter larouche in the diamond district. Seriously he is great! My band was just under 2 cts and I believe we paid 1600. He even met my fh on long island when he was coming home from the city.

just wanted to add, they also gave me an appraisal on the spot for insurance purposes and i think the stones are VS1 quality - i'll have to look when i get home
also the U shaped eternity band which IMO is much prettier because you can see the whole diamond
