How far in advance are you buying your wedding bands?

We are surprising each other with the wedding bands we choose. We won't see what the other bought until our wedding day. I already got FH because I found 'the one' for him, but I don't know if he's even started looking for mine although I highly doubt it.

as soon as the big expenses are covered like hall, photog, flowers... probably a few months before wedding, but we aren't gonna get real fancy ones, just white gold bands.... so I don't know if some have to order out for customized yadda.... I don't think its something that has to be rushed though....

We are going to go to the Diamond District where FH got my e-ring. I want it to be antique looking and I am very picky about it. I just don't want to buy the rings too early and have them sitting here.

I already bought FH wedding band, and we started looking for me. It depends if your getting it engraved and such. It took a little over a month for FH wedding band to come in through scott kay at baileybanksandbiddle. Not sure about engraving though, because I'm going to wait to do that.

we're waiting till about 3-4 months before. should be plenty of time!

we put ours on hold already...for the simple fact my ring has a pave design on it and I wanted to make sure I could get one that matched....but we got it very early.

me and FH are planning to go a few months before the wedding.

We already know what we want, its just a matter of seeing it in person.

We are going where FH bought my ring and they said they only need 2-3 to customize my ring and his will probably be fairly plain. So probably not until after all of the holiday madness...i dont want to keep something expensive around too long without wearing it, with my luck i would probably loose it!

i already ogt FH his everday band and the reason why i got it wasbecause i got a great deal on it ...as for mine and his other ... i plan on getting it when i have more money saved or if we happen to find something we like well get it

a few months before the wedding...I have to see how the band i want looks with my ring, i think i might have to get it custom made though, not sure.

Also I don't think FH is sure what he wants yet. I showed him this black diamond wedding band for guys that is so HOTT!!! and he likes it alot too and has been thinking about it, hes not 100% sure though but he says he always remembers that band

I got my wedding band a few weeks ago (pics in album) I wanted something very specific so I had a jeweler on the hunt for it. They found it and now it's there, safely put away in a safe. We still owe money on it, so we're taking our time since I dont' need it for another 7 months.

We haven't picked out FH's ring yet- he's not picky though.

Well..our wedding is in July and we got ours in April...I would say a 2-3 mths before the wedding would be fine

We will probably get ours a couple months before. My moms friend sells jewelry and I got my engagement ring from her so we are going to get our wedding bands from her and it doesn't take long to do. I think my engagement ring was ready in a week.

Probably 3 months before. We're going back to the Diamond District where we got my e-ring because of the detailing on my setting (antique) I want to have something that matches pretty well... and FH already picked this tungsten band he wants (he's so easy).

I wish we could get them sooner, well, because I just love jewelry shopping in general!
