Wedding Bands- What is a normal width for the grooms band?

We are both getting simple platinum bands but I am not sure if I should get a 5mm or 6mm band. And for the bride, 3mm or 4mm. Any suggestions?

Just go with what is comfortable and looks best on your hands. My husband has a very wide band which he chose. He prefers it over the 'normal' size but it does look great on him. Best wishes

My fiance got a 6mm band but depending on the size of the hand everyone is different. The 6mm is not that wide. 5 or 6 is probably average.

Wedding Bands- Cley

Cley - First off, thanks for the recommendation on Colonial Flowers - we booked them and I'm sure they'll do a great job. I hope you'll post a review of your wedding since I'm also using Wild Rose Video! By the way, did you choose the songs for your video yet? We have 4 so far - looking for 2 more!! Any ideas? With respect to the rings...my FI's getting a 6 mm (his finger is a size 11.5). Like Elizabeth said though, you should get whatever you're comfortable with. Good luck!!
