I was wondering how far ahead of time you all plan on getting your wedding bands.

We won our wedding bands from 94.3FM! We entered a drawing on St. Patricks Day for his and her clatter (sp) rings at a bar, and we won!!! We are going to the sponsored jewler and exchanging them for what we want (plain silver bands, we are such plain jane and joe!!!) It was a relief though not to have to worry about saving up for rings!

I admit we started to look around just to get an idea of costs. We'll probably wait a while before doing anything tho.
I have no clue what I want. I need a plain band for the ceremony (jewish tradition) but I don't think I want one.

We both have an idea of what we want. We will probably have them made about 6 months or so before the wedding.

FH works ALL summer so we can't go until November to pick them out - I hope that gives us enough time?

nope don`t have mine yet. but we are going to start looking soon, i pretty much know what i want and i belive it`s outta my limit for right now so i might get a cheper version untill after the wedding when i buy the ones i really love!!

We know what we want and where we're getting it but haven't ordered yet...I don't want to have it yet...I'd wear it all the time if I had it!

we've started looking b/c FH is not a jewelry wearer at all so he needs some time to figure out what he wants and I need time to find something that goes with my ring. i have a very thin band and it tapers in the middle so i havent been able to find anything that matches. so i might just get a ring i love and ignore what everyone says about them having to go together.

I got his in January, and we just ordered mine last night. I think they said it will be in end of july, and it only takes 2 weeks to engrave, so you have plenty of time!!
