I was wondering how far ahead of time you all plan on getting your wedding bands.

We don't...He hasn't picked his out yet...I pretty much know what I want....it was on sale at Zales for like 2 weeks and now its back to full price... I should have bought it then...oh well...I'll keep checking back. I try to buy stuff when I can...i'm hoping it won't be so much of a cash shock as the wedding approaches if I buy stuff now...

We have had ours for almost a year now. We werent planning on getting them but we both just happened to find the ones we wanted so we got them.
We got ours like 2 weeks after the engagement. It matches my ring perfectly and I didn't want to wait.

We picked out his and unfortunately mine needs to be custom made so I had to order mine.

no don't have them yet and not exactly sure when we are going to get them. I pretty much know what i want, just FH has to decide what he wants...I'll probably wait until 3 months before the wedding

Nope we don't have ours yet. We will most likely go to his best friend's father. He is the one who made my ring. Probably a few months before the wedding.
