wedding bubbles hard to open?

Mine are so hard to to open! It is like they are glued shut. Anyone else have this problem? Maybe I should return mine!

OMG, I ordered mine months ago and last night I pulled them out of the dusty old box they've been in to start decoratiing them...they are soooo hard to open. Now I'm nervous someone is going to apply so much pressure trying to open it that it's going to pop oprn and spill all over them

Same with me!! I thought maybe I just have old bubbles and that is why. Anyone else experience this? I had to open the bottle with my teeth and then I got soap in my mouth! Bleck! I don't want our guests to do this!

Mine were too! Also didn't help that my wedding was in Dec and some of them felt like they were frozen shut. But don't worry, everyone was able to get them open with no major issues.

cippyloo, thats exactly what happened at my brothers wedding. it spilt all over someone.

Yes! I've been to several weddings where bubbles was the thing to use when the bride and groom leaves the church and it was impossible to open the cap. I got some soap/bubble fluid on my hand struggling to open it. MOG insisted to get champagne-shaped bubbles for our wedding as we need something to throw/toss to the bride and groom I refuse but they insisted and won. I refuse because it's so hard to open the caps. I think the manufacturer makes it so hard to open to prevent it from going bad, and any leakage during shipment.

I have a funny story about wedding bubbles! I was so nervous the day of the wedding I totally forgot to bring them to the church Make sure you give the responsiblity to someone much calmer than yourself They were hard to open too

FI made a suggestion and it worked, but it doesn't look as nice. If you make a cut/slit with a piar of pliers in the cap (once you get the darned thing open ), it relieves some of the pressure when you go to open the bubbles again. But, you have to open them all and do it for all of them! What a pain but it might be worth it!

Hmmm, I'll try that on one, see how much of a pain in the a$$ it is...see if it's worth it. Thanks for the tip.

They have these bubbles at Michaels that I think have screw tops, they are long and skinny in translucent bottles.

Shelzyp-thanks for the info on screw-top bubbles. Maybe I will make an exchange if they are easier to open.
