Wedding Cake Designers

I have an appointment scheduled with Cakes by Mona and A Taste of Home in the next few weeks. I'm hoping you can provide feedback if any of you have had experiences with either vendor and also your opinion as to taste and design... Thank you!

i have worked with taste of home...

i have had some wonderful cakes from there!

some advice:
-be VERY specific in what you want!
-one of the owners isn't exactly a people person, so be prepared for that
-there choc cake with white choc moose and raspberry filling is delish!

eta: in a little bit i can try to post two awesome cakes they made for us! and some by dortoni as well

our cake was from Black Forest in Lindenhurst and it was yummy

Thank you! To be honest, I'm not a huge fan of giving 'not people friendly people' my business so I might have to move on from that one......

They even want to charge for the tasting which I find very odd.

I'll check out Dortoni as well.
