We are getting married @ CHCC, so our cake will be from Dortoni. We like dulce de leche, but I don't want it to be overly sweet. Any good mixes of flavors you girls can suggest?
Do all cakes for CHCC come from Dortoni? I actually forgot to ask who the cake would come from when we booked.
As far as I know, yes.
We're getting the dulce de leche with vanilla cake!! It is really sweet, but they usually only get a thin slice, so no, I don't think its too sweet! In fact, they do it with chocolate cake and I think that might be too sweet, but I'd eat it anyway!

I'm getting my cake from Dortoni. And we're having yellow cake with chocolate ganache and raspberry mousse. It's delicious!
Awesome! I will try that, the FH and will go for our cake tasting this summer.. did you Dortoni girls do a tasting? I also love canoli cream filling.

omg i thought that the cake was done in house because i know they do a lot of backing. i had no idea Dortoni does them! i am soooo excited. FYI from dortoni they have this amazing chocolate cake with raspberry filling and Chocolate ganosh.

I am getting my cake from them too. I dont like buttercream so cnt help you there but for my E-cake I got chocolate with chocolate dobash and my dinner guests all said it wasnt too sweet. FH cant take too much sweet and he said it wasnt either.
I lovvvveeeee DORTONI.. what a great perk... they make very good cakes. :)
