I need some recommendations in Queens or Manhattan please. I would appreciate it. I thought I had this vendor already done but I found out that almost everyone at my baby shower hated the cake we had. I liked it well enough (shows how much taste I have or maybe it was a pregnancy thing). Come to think of it I haven't had a piece of their cake since I had my daughter. 2 years later everyone is complaining that it was too rich.
HELP!!!!!!

Re: Wedding cake recommendations
the cake we had at our wedding was deeelish! everyone loved it and i know they're not lying. it wasnt' too light or too rich. it was perfect in my taste. the flavors we had were chocolate sponge with coffee cream. i highly reccomend this for your's. we got our cake from Mona Lisa Bakery (has a few diff locations). call 411 or other means for contact info. they made us a mini cake as our free tasting to take home which made us feel comfortable and so 'special.' we payed $700 (plus $75 for transportaion) for 250 mouths and was able to feed a hundred more! i guarantee everyone will enjoy it!
the baker was able to produce a slight replica of this link: http://photo.live.advance.net/modbride/images/439/modernmbm0203_3.jpg in this photo, the cake is covered in all fondant even teh flowers. with my cake the flowers were in cream.
