I also found out last night that the hall does not supply a cake stand for the wedding cake. They just put it on the table. I don't know if I'm ok with that but looking at the prices of stands I can't afford that either.
What are all of you doing?

I'm not sure why you'd need one, the cake usually comes on cardboard.
