wedding cameras
I need your help. I want to order our wedding cameras but I don't know where to go for the best deal. I definitely want good film in the cameras, like Kodak or Fuji...but where can I go for the best prices? Any advice?

Re: wedding cameras
Personally, I would stick to buying the cameras from a reputable brick and mortar store. THere is a girl on here who ordered cameras from ebay and had all her photos ruined because of the refurbished nature of the cameras. Ive heard lots of girls having the same problems because of ebay 'bargains'.Costco and other discount bulk stores sell them in 4 packs for a pretty reasonable price. I used Kodak Fun Savers from Costco and my pictures came out great.

Re: wedding cameras
I agree with Stef. The thing is... IMO, Photos are not the place to bargain hunt... This is your backup if your photographer- heaven forbid, gets the flu, is hungover or the pics come out not as good as you would have hoped.... I'm sure ebay is great for a tangible product but with film, you don't want to take chances..

Re: wedding cameras
It's probably okay to buy the cameras from ebay as long as you make sure that the cameras are not refurbished and it is not past the expiration date. But I agree with Stef & sept--photos are one thing I definitely wouln't skimp on.

Re: wedding cameras
I guess I am lucky. I bought refurbished cameras on eBay and have tried them out. The photo quality is just fine! They have Fuji film in them. The seller had great reviews too (so many of them)!Edited to say that I tried them out in 3 different catering halls when I went to parties as well as at home.
