Re: Wedding Center?
yeah there were some negative reviews. Go to BHB and wait for the thread to get bumped, there were LOTS of reviews on this
I went to the wedding center for my invitations and party favors. When I got there I was ambushed by the owner. Right of way he started telling to drop my DJ and my photographer ... My fiancee was very annoyed. One of the ladies that worked there was dragging on the floor a wedding gown that had just gotten in. I went to a wedding last December where the bride and groom used them for everything. The DJ's were young and one of them was falling asleep on top of one of the speakers. I guess you get what you pay for! Hope this helps.

Re: Wedding Center?
run from them!
they purposely try and order BM and wedding dresses WAAAY too big, so charge outrageous alterations fees...they are just plain rude, and the sales people are unprofessional.
have you checked out Phyllis @ Bridal Elegance to see if she has the BM dress you are looking for? Her prices are amazing and she does the alterations right there.
ETA: btw--i DID book an all inclusive pkge with them when we first got engaged cause i thought we wouldn't be able to afford anything else. yeah, even though i had to lose money, we cancelled most everything with them. i heard waaaaay too many horror stories about their photographers and DJ services. and i saw some pics that other brides had from using them...and they were just terrible.

Re: Wedding Center?
I went to go try on dresses there today and I thought they had a large selection and the women there were really nice. They did say they don't have a cap on their alterations which concerned me because they said the very basic alterations cost $300 but if you just want to go try on dresses I thought they were very pleasant.

Re: Wedding Center?
I have heard good and bad things about it. I am definately going to go because it doesnt seem like an uptight place (at least from their ads) and I want to try on a bunch of dresses to understand what style I like and then I can go to a few boutiques and know what I like without bothering them to death!
