I know this is restating what has already been said on here many times, but I just thought I'd share. My bridesmaids just got back from the Wedding Center in Commack to try on some Jim Hjelm dresses. I sent them there ( I live in VA so I couldn't go) because it's one of the few places that carries Jim Hjelm's whole line and I wanted them to try on a specifc dress. Well, they said that the staff there were unbelievably rude. As soon as they walked in they asked my sister why she there. She said, 'To try on bridesmaid's dresses'. The woman said in a rude tone, 'Well when is the wedding', to which my sister said, 'February'. She said the woman than rolled her eyes for some reason and started slamming different dress books onto the table. When my sister told her she was just looking for one specific dress, the woman became a little bit more pleasant and directed her into the back. No one was paying attention to them while they were trying the dresses on. When my sister asked if they could clip the dress for her, the woman snapped one clip onto the front of the dress (?) and said, 'I have no idea how this dress is supposed to look' and walked away. Overall, they had a very bad experience. I wasn't going to have them order them there anyway, but it's funny because I warned them that I had read on here that those people are very rude. She said the dresses were in pretty bad shape too.

Re: Wedding Center in Commack
Ugh, yes, another bad experience over here. The woman that was 'helping' me (if you could call it that) was very rude and rushed. They were not busy at the time either. She just couldn't be bothered with me, and continued to pick out the opposite of what I was describing. Trying on wedding dresses should be a fun and pleasant experience...good customer service should be a given.
