Wedding Center in Commack???

I have gotten mixed reviews about The Wedding Center in Commack. They can order my dress for less money and the bridesmaid dress. If you have used or heard anything could you please let me know. Thanks

I used them for both my gown and my bridesmaids! great prices! Just make sure they don't order dresses to big to get more money on alterations! They tried this on a couple of my girls!

AAHH they tried to pull that with me. I had my measurements taken elsewhere for a BM dress, and called them in. I decided to go there since I had to sign something and return it. I decided to try on the dress, and the sample was way too big on me and they were going to order me a size bigger than the sample. I definately changed the size.

Your girls will have to sign a contract that says they are getting a different size than recommended by the wedding center no big woop!!!

They have good prices as long as you dont get them altered there- they told me there is not CAP on alterations-so a dress may cost 550 and end up being double because you have no way of knowing what they charge for the smallest detail until they add it up-

I changed the size too, they always want you ordering somting bigger.

Anyway, I ordered my dress from there, and it came in more or less on time.
The BM dresses came early. I haven't done alterations yet tho. My first fitting is Saturday

I thought there alterations were with in the limits! That's why I said make sure you don't order a dress too big.

Hey I just got my bridesmaid dress from them - they didn't haggle me with size but the alterations are 55 buck and 10 bucks for a bustle because of the type of dress that was picked! Is that too much - because I thought it was!

My contract with them also said that the cap was 55 bucks - grrrr taking my money! Otherwise lovely to work with

Olgaki- I didn't get my dress a CWC but where I got my dress they are charging the same for the bustle and your alterations are a lot cheaper than mine

I ordered bridesmaids dresses at the Wedding Center. The dresses came in early, no problem at all. They have a cap of $55 for the alternations. I can't tell you the details about the alternations, but so far so good. The prices are really the best around. No complaints. Just try to go early. It can be a mad house in there on a Saturday.

My friend, who is getting married this August, got her bridesmaid dresses there and even though it doesn't look like the most classiest place in the world, she got a really good deal on the dresses. I say if they give you a good deal on the dresses, the dresses come out nice and the people are not a nightmare to work with - who cares where you get them

I got my BM dresses there, and they had th ebest prices
You can order it there, and have it altered somewhere else

If this can help, I ordered my prom dress from them back in 1996 and I thought they were wonderful. They measured me just perfect, my dress didn't need any alterations and it also came in EARLY! I haven't really ever heard anything bad. Good luck

I also have to add another thing. My BM dresses did come in fast. I think it was about 2-3 months.
