Wedding Center of Commack and Lynbrook Bridal

Has anyone gotten their BM dresses at either of these places? Did they have a good selection to try on, and a lot of different sizes? Just wondering if anyone could share their experiences.

I am going with one of my BM's to Lynbrook tomorrow just to check things out. I have 7 BM of all shapes and sizes, so it has been hard finding something that would work and I just want everyone to feel comfortable.

Thanks for your help!

I haven't been but only because I've heard terrible tales of the one in Commack... mostly that their prices are low because they jack up the alterations. A lot of sketchy stuff goes on there I hear.

ive gotten bridesmaid dresses when i was in other weddings there. they have a big selection and the prices are good.

BUTTTTTT
the place is terrible. service *****, very unreliable, and every time i was in there, there was at least one other girl in there either crying or yelling because they had messed up something.
i would really NOT recommend that place. i actually found my wedding dress there, but refused to order it there and deal with them.

I purchased my dress and all the bm dresses at the commack wedding center. My MOH and another friend of ours also did their gowns and tuxedos there. I haven't had any problems. When I purchased my dress I was NOT going to have the alterations there because of the prices, but they have them capped now. Lucy is doing the alterations for my gown and she is so nice and a pleasure to work with. The place does not look the nicest but they have what you need. When I starting looking for my dress, I went to a place that really wouldn't pay attention to me because I wasn't spending over 2k on my dress. I was told I had to go to another store. I've also heard really bad things about Macy's. I prefer to use a family owned business instead of a large chain store. I purchased my shoes at David's bridal and they have a no return or exchange policy. So now I'm stuck with shoes that kill my feet and I'll never wear.
TCWC has been around for years and everytime I go there, they are busy, so they have to be doing something right to still be in business.
