I am new here and have a question and hoping for some opinions. I am getting married in March 2008. This will be my 2nd marriage and his first. We are looking to do things a little different (mainly because we are on a budget). We are getting married a the Irish Coffee Pub. We were thinking of getting married there but not the traditional way. We were thinking of having everyone staying in there seats and we get married on the dance floor. I know it sounds a little weird but this is what we have come up with. The RH wanted $5 a head to set up for the ceremony and we really don't want to spend the $500 if we don't have to. Thanks!

Personally, I think that is a great idea and I wish I would have thought of it. The halls I have visited are looking for between $750 and $1,000 for the ceremony fee so, at this point, it seems reasonable to me. Good Luck!!!

i worked @ the la grange inn years ago, and i saw a wedding ceremony done just like that there.

that's a very good idea. you don't hear that done very often. If your RH is willing to do it, then I would say go for it!
