For the past few days I have been going back and forth on my wedding colors. I was set on a deep red with very small gold accents because I want an elegant and romantic feel and the red rose is my favorite flower. But now I am thinking on doing a light or olive green with deep red because the wedding its in May and might be more modern. I DON'T KNOW and I need to make a decision before I order somethings I need. What do you think?

Re: Wedding Colors
of course, do what you like...but the red and green sounds 'Christmas'y - i think the red and gold sounds really pretty and works well anytime! HTH

Re: Wedding Colors
i think deep red with gold is very classy and elegant. Even though you are getting married in May- I still think it will work. Something like the Olive green with red might be too holiday-ish.
i say go for the gold & red!

Re: Wedding Colors
I did mint and gold. It was very elegant & the colors were gorgeous. I personally think red & gold would go together for your wedding rather than green & red. Or you can always mix a deep red with plum shades for a modernized look. If you need some ideas/inspiration, feel free to take a look at my link:
Red and gold would look absolutely lovely if you were getting married during the winter. But your wedding is in May. Have you thought about red and antique white? That's very elangant and romatic and you can modern it up with the style of the dresses.

Re: Wedding Colors
I would keep the colors bright and vibrant at the Swan Club. That place is very colorful and gardeny (is that a word?) and i agree that the red & gold would look great in the winter...
I already had a color in mind b4 I started seeing any halls and once I saw SC, I knew the pool/tiffany blue would set off the beautiful colors already there!
