This is like the 2nd or third questions everyone asks me when we tell them we are engaged. And i always say i dunno. We are getting married Memorial Day weekend of 2013. I know we have time but I would like opinions. We thought about doing red dresses and navy blue ties and vests for the groomsman or vica versa but then it seems kinda corny.
My friend got married memorial day weekend and we wore navy dresses and carried red roses. It really popped. I wouldn't worry too much about the guys colors, it will blend, but if I had to pick I'd say go with blue over red. Sometimes they have vests that just have a hint of blue,,, not all blue...like a paisley or other design ...HTH!

red and blue look very nice together. very american flaggish though lol. i def prefer blue over red

My sister is getting married next Memorial Day and her colors are purple, green and white. You can do any colors you want, don't let the holidays or seasons control your choices![]()

Also,,,if you don't want dark navy,,, try marine blue,,,it's a little brighter than navy
Have you seen the color Caspian Blue by J.Crew? It looks really nice with ivories....you could make those your main colors with pops of red in the flowers, invites, etc. Check it out...it's a really nice, neutral blue.
Whatever you want, don't worry about what others think...jump in with both feet and have confidence in your choices!

What is your fav color? Mines is purple so I picked that. The only thing I was debating about was the accent colors for flowers and ive decided to go with orange and fuchshia bcuz I feel it will really make the flowers pop and I love color. Do what you like.

im torn for colors also because i always loved black and white but i do want some color...so i was going to do deep red and bright pink with it...until i saw blue orchids and fell in love with them
If you choose blue, what color shoe will the guys wear? I personally don't like blue suits with black shoes but thats just me.
Do whatever color you want. I think the two colors sound great together.
I goggled marine blue bc i have no idea what color is it is. There are several shades!! What color is it?!?!?! My favorite color is pink but i dont want it to be my wedding color.

Go to Google images and research wedding colors.. You can Google memorial day weddings, spring wedding colors or individual colors and a bunch of stuff will pop up. Maybe you will find something you like.
