I just started thinking about our wedding colors. My reception hall has green carpets with small pink flowers....pictures in my album. I was thinking about blue but don't want to clash with the room/carpet. What do you girls think?
If you are getting uplighting in your venue, I don't see why you can't use blue- When the DJ is playing and the lights are turned down, nobody will even notice the carpet
I wasn't planning for uplighting but that's a good idea if it's not too expensive!
I don't think most people will even notice your venu's carpet, go with colors that speak to you and compliment the season/theme of the wedding. I picked blue and yellow, both very summery and nothing too crazy lol
i was originally going to do dark purple, but my RH carpet is maroon and pink so i went with pink so it will all match. plus im doing pink uplighting too

I am East Wind but in the Estate prob has the same carpet I am doing purple and I have uplighting through my DJ!
I have never noticed the carpet in a venue. I say do whatever color you want .
The Estate has different carpet Courtney...I guess you girls are right. As a bride now, I stress over every detail, lol.
