Wedding coordinator

Do you need a wedding coordinator if your RH is going to provide two bridal attendants and a maitre d'?

And how much is the wedding coordinator approximately?

My RH provides a Maitre' D and a bridal attendant.. I don't think DOC are necessary when you have that!

Hey - I'm getting married at Chateau Briand as well I'm not getting an outside coordinator - and we're doing it all there ceremony and everything. I feel very comfortable with the service we've gotten from them so far. We booked with Victoria and whenever I've had any questions she's been great!

Its not necessary but just keep in mind that your MD and BAs all work for your RH-so their best interest is not in you. The DOC would deal with your hall and make sure your interests are met.

I had a planner and she dealt with everything-including my RH when I had a problem with them. Its definitely not necessary tho

I totally agree with Pega Lega. I am having a DOC but only from the morning until after we walk into the reception. I figured the same thing once I am at the hall it is not necessary since I will have a Maitre'd and a bridal attendant as well. My Doc is very reasonable and I already saw her in action for a friends wedding. She really took care of the line ups at church and the reception and made sure everything was set up just perfectly at the reception. I am trying to keep my day as stress free as possible. FM me if you want info on my DOC

I really want a DOC but so far it's not in the budget. Has anyone found a decent one for a reasonable price?

Agreed. I'm having a DOC start off at my home up until the Reception. After that, I'm pretty sure the bridal attendants and maitre D will be able to take care of anything else. I feel safer having a DOC that's not affiliated wtih my RH and that's there from me from the very beginning. I'm using Christine Viola at EAP, her prices were really reasonable.
