too much and I think my feeding people was the least of our problem once we dropped the halls package the only thing included was staff and food so we brought in our own linens, napkins, we even bought our own trumpet vases for centerpieces. We more than doubled out budget not counting the honeymoon

We will be between $20k & $25k for about 120 people (that everything but hm)

i got very lucky with the way things went...total for everything 150 people was 18k

I was desperately trying to keep it at 30K but that is shot to hell...for a Saturday night in Dec. with 150 ppl...we are spending 35K not includinga HM or any other festivities...

I always swore I would never spend that much but it just happened so fast....

Well I spent about 35gs for 150 people on a Friday night. That is factoring everything including honeymoon. I wanted to stay under 30.

I personal feel like if I had more time, I could of did everthing for 25. But I plan my wedding in 5 months but if I had a year or more, it would of been cheaper.

I was surprised how good we did. We started with a 30k budget for 100 people, and with everything included (HM, bach parties and shower) we hit just over 30k

I responded with ONLY my venue cost, which I put at 22k.

I should also state that we are having a band....you can use your imagination how much that cost has risen with dress, flowers, invites, etc.

FH is really the one managing the budget (thank God), but I think we were aiming for 35k and 200 guests, but it will probably end up being around 40k and 250 people.. I think. Without a honeymoon, we're still debating
I have nooo concept of budgeting, I just know what I like and will always DIY or look for a bargain

My motto these days is 'keep it cheap'
