I dont understand how people can be so judgemental..I hope everything works out for you love!! Nothing but good wishes for you and your fiance..Maybe things will work out with time..I agree with Mara's post. Maybe you can still have your ceremony and hold off the reception for a later date..

I hope you don't have to cancel. Affording a wedding is still hard and I still don't think I can even make it but I am hoping for the best! That's horrible what they said about your honeyfund. I have one too and its not a big deal or a way of begging for money. Hope things work out!![]()

:Hugs: I think it's reprehensible what that person said to your grandmother, to hell with him/her. Like others have said, try to switch the day of the week with your RH. Since you're Oct 2012 there are still a lot of dates available. Have you also considered asking friends if they know of anyone who can get you a deal?That's how we got our limo and DJ, and we're using a photographer friend for our pictures. to be honest guys... after the fight i had with my grandmother...i'm not sure i even want the big wedding i've always wanted.....one of our family members called to tell her how im begging ppl for money by posting a honey fund.....and she told me i was a disgrace to the family and to remove it right away before i embaress her some more..

What you will learn when you plan your wedding is that everyone has a comment and you learn to surround yourself with the people who will support you in the process. Every one of us had/has a moment when we thought we could not afford the wedding of our dreams but as someone who just got married, I promise you that it can happen. Every vendor is willing to work with you on any budget. Cut back on things like invitations (we used www. teresalangdesigns.com and she works with ANY budget) and get creative with flowers (we used some fruits, along with our flowers and I purchased those at Trader Joes). You can find a very reasonable DJ and every wedding location will lower their price. One thing my husband and I learned is that there is a benefit to not planning a year ahead (you get great prices but you may not have your ideal date). Consider thursdays, fridays, saturday mornings and definitely consider the fall. The fall is beautiful and the prices are alot lower. i did not choose the RH bc its too far from me (almost one hr) But it has AMAZING ALL INCLUSIVE pakcage...
I was gonna go with $10,000
which is a LOT cheaper than any other RH + adding all vendors...
U dont have to ADD anything, what they give u for those packages are MORE THAN ENOUGH!!!!!!!!!!
I have ariana waterfalls bc i got da same package as Med Manor =)
Our original budget was only $5,000.. we have worked our butties off and diy things too....
i know we went Double our budget BUT think about this, U gonna get an amazing wedding for Less than $15,000!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!and that though made me smile
