Wedding Crasher

True story - my sister had a makeup trial for her wedding with someone that was recommended by her FHs cousin. It went great so she hired her. The day of the wedding the girl shows up late and proceeds to take 2 hours on my mother before starting on my sister - strike one. We started telling her how imp it was for us to stick to the time but no...she took 2 hours for each of us. But okay, we were on time so no big deal.

After the ceremony we go to the RH and someone comes to the bridal suite to tell us that the makeup artist is there. My sis goes down to meet her and she says she left some of her stuff in the hotel room and needed to get it back so she came to let us know and while she's there she would touch up my sister (how nice of her, we thought). Well...we get into the reception and who is sitting at one of the tables? And who orders a meal? And dances all night? And takes a favor on her way out? And leaves with one of the groom's cousins?

No joke. She came in under the cover that she needed to tell us something and then proceede to party the night away. She's even on my sister's video!

She didn't do anything. By the time she got back from the HM she just didn't feel like bothering with it. Oh and I forgot to mention - my sister paid for everyone to get their makeup done but one BM didn't realize that so she paid the makeup artist for her makeup. That means she took double payment for one person! We didn't realize this until a few weeks later when everyone was talking about it.

i'd be sort of annoyed but i mean ... whatever. she didn't crash in a bad way. but i wouldn't go around recommending her? cuz its like... if she will do THAT what else does this broad have up her sleeve?

Yeh we were def annoyed at the time and we will NOT recommend her (that's why I'm still looking for someone) but it's been a year and a half and now we kinda laugh about it.
