I guess I will get the usual hi-lights about 1-2 weeks before and cut about 3-4 weeks prior.

My hairstylist suggested two weeks before for both (well I don't do color, I get highlights). Thing is, I won't be in town then. Part of me kind of wants to do it a week before or that very week! Not sure if that's risky....but she is very safe when she does my hair....

I had my highlights a week prior. I never had a cut though....since I had curls, there wasn't a need to spend that extra money ..... especially when I was getting it cut after the wedding

My girl thats doing my hair said 2 weeks before to get highlights and Ill probably get a cut before then.

My appointment for my hair highlighting and cut is on June 2. About 3 1/2 before my wedding.

Two weeks before. That is what my hair dresser recommended. If your hair grows really fast then about a week and a half!

I guess this also depends on the type of color-this is for highlights because my roots are really visible

I plan on coloring and cutting my hair 2 weeks before the wedding.

Mine was planned for two weeks before the wedding, but I wasn't feeling well that day, so now it's this Wednesday, about ten days before the wedding. I've noticed that my hair always looks its best about two weeks after a salon visit.

I do not color my hair, but I am currently in desperate need of a haircut. So I may get one this weekend and then again two weeks before the wedding.

I would do color 1-2 weeks before. Just show it's fresh looking and no touchups needed for the big day.
