Is it weird that FH and I have not yet chosen a wedding date? We are going to start to look around at RHs but don't have a date in mind. We just know we want Fall of 2009. Seems like everyone else has a certain date in mind...

I'm in the same boat....we don't have a certain date in mind. Some people have dates that mean something special to them, but we are just going to go with a date that the RH has available. We don't even really know what time of year we want yet, we are hoping to see some prices for different times and make a decision based on those

It's better when you don't have a specific date...opens up your options.
We really wanted our date because my FH's vacation weeks are pre-planned for him by his job so we really wanted to make sure we could take a honeymoon after the wedding.

No, its not weird at all!!! Thats actually better for you so you arent stressed and keep thinkin 'omg, i need to book the hall today b4 someone steals my date' LOL I wnet through that for 3 weeks b4 booking and when we finally wrote up the contract, my date was soooooooooooooo open

haha nooo the girls on here are way ahead of us..... lol u dont have to do anything till at least a year in advance....im just a lil slow too

i dont have one either! we are looking for a RH then we will pick an available date either in June or Sept 09

You have plenty of time don't worry...the only reason I booked so early is because we wanted a specific date..our anniversary!! I'm behing the RH is the only thing I have booked!!! :breathe:

we dont have a specific date either. we want an a warm day prefferably in may or june but we'll have to see what days are available when we look at reception halls soon.
