What made you and your FH pick the wedding date that you did?

We picked ours because we love the fall, and met in the fall so we did the first weekend in November for cheaper prices.

well we didnt want to have to worry about weather issues...originally we wanted to do February 15th (our anniversary) but we were too afraid with the possibility of snow...then we fell in love with Chateau La Mer and wanted to take advantage of the outside cocktail hour so July 3rd it was!

I wanted spring and I check when is going to be my spring break from school (I will be in my last year) so I can match with the wedding week

We were thinking either November or March at first because we wanted cool weather.... not like FREEEZING weather but cool because I get sick in the heat.. we ended up getting engaged in november 07... so we decided that nov 08 was too close.. but we were trying to not do a full 2 year engagement because we can't move in together BEFORE marriage (my parents would flip) so we opted for March

We wanted cold weather and a sunday so MLK weekend was perfect because most people will have off that monday

it's our anniversary, and i have to get married on my summer vacation bc of teaching.

We wanted October but, to expensive and then decided on a friday night in March. To make along storty short a thursday night in August fell into our laps, alot cheaper then the friday in Marsh, and we decided on my parents anniversary August 27th. It also helps that I have off at that time for 2 weeks and I dont have to worry about taking off before or after the wedding.

We picked July 10th b/c my fiance wanted the summer. I am a teacher too and it gives me about two weeks from when school ends until the wedding. Also we would like to do Europe for our honeymoon and it is nice to go in the summer when it is warm there too. I wouldn't have mind getting married in December. I don't like the heat!!

We originally wanted early May but when we got to the VYC our date was booked so we turned to June - we wanted spring

we both wanted a nighttime wedding during the warmer months.. i really wanted a june wedding, but the difference in price between that an august was crazy so we just went with august.

well it is our anni. and also my grandmother b-day and also his grandfathers birthday. Very speical day

if we decide to still get married in 09.05.09... then it's because i love the end of summer and beginning of fall.. and september is that month... plus the number 5 is our favorite number... and i like things to be organized.. 09 in the front and 09 in the back.. lol

we picked our wedding date because we really wanted his cousins from croatia to be able to come and they can only come in the winter (so they can be able to take off ---not so busy)months because they own a bread and breakfast ...

Plus I needed the wedding to be a Saturday in the summer.

We knew we wanted to get married on the beach hence the need for warm weather, but we didn't want it to be sweltering. Plus, with a lot of FH's relatives from out of town we knew a friday night or normal sunday were out as well. Not wanting to pay Sat night prices we opted for a Sunday before a holiday (Labor day weekend). Although in the end I think they still count that as a Saturday night.
