Hey there, I have a question...how do you guys feel about a wedding date that lands on your birthday? We are looking for a Friday and the only day in the month we want is on my birthday. I think it has its pros and cons...what do you all think??

I dont think there is anything wrong with that. If it was someone else close to you then maybe because then you will have to share your anniversary with that persons birthday.
nothing wrong with that at all just make sure you party even more and even a bigger reason to celebrate you do what ever day you feel will be special for you

As long as it doesn't bother you I dont see a problem. I personally would want my wedding on a different day so they are two completely celebrations each year.

my aunt and uncle got married on my aunt's bday
it's your day, you can do whatever you want.
personally, i wouldn't do it - i want 2 separate celebrations and i hate the fact that a lot of people already lump my birthday with christmas

Here are pros: - Party extra hard to celebrate both - A lot of ppl sing happy birthday lol - It will be easy to remember (family I mean)

It is up to you,.. but I wouldnt want it. I need to have my own day lol...
However, we are getting married a few days prior to FH's bday. We were shooting for a July 10th wedding but couldnt get it! grr... so now it's a few days prior to his bday... and a month prior to mine.
I just hope that we don't do the wedding and birthday celebrations together... I don't like that

I don't think there is anything wrong with that.
Personally though i would never do it. It's bad enough my wedding is in the fall 2 months from my b-day lol. I LOVE my bday and HATE sharing it with anything or anything else.. lol But that's just me and i'm totally ridiculous.. i know.

I don't see anything wrong with it either, I originally was going to pick a date 2 days before my birthday. I think it all depends on how you feel about it.

I dont think there's anything wrong with it if it doesnt bother you... We're getting married a month before fh's birthday and 2 months before mine so we'll have a reason to celebrate in july, august, and sept! Also, our date is the same date as my cousin's anniversary, so we're going to share anniversaries and it doesnt bother me at all

My brother did that...had his wedding on his birthday. He didn't mind too much.
The only con about that is getting one gift for both anniversary and birthday. I know as a kid I used to get one gift for birthdays and X-mas and my birthday was 4 days before X-mas. Go figure that!!!
But as an adult I told my parents enough is enough!!! I need two gifts!!

I don't think I'd want to get married on my b-day but that's just a weird thing with me. Our original date was 2 days after FH's b-day and that bothered me for some reason. He didn't mind though so it totally depends on how you feel. I like to spread out the celebrations.
