I'm avoiding French because it always chips SO EASILY on me!
I have supershort nails and WON'T have tips (acrylic or silk) for the wedding...I don't ever have them, so I figured 'why get them on my wedding day'?! They're just not for me. Some people love them...my FH hates them!
And we're leaving for the HM about 12 hours after the reception ends, so I'll probably just bring whatever color I decide to use for touchups. That won't work w/ French!
Is anyone planning on wearing red or burgundy?
My flowers will be all dark colors...my Mom's nails were burgundy on her wedding day, and I love how it looked in pics. It definitely added some sass!

My nails are wrapped but super short, so I won't have to worry about chips. My manicurist does this really cool thing where she paints your nails with a sheer pink and white and it looks like marble. I LOVE it, so I'll probably do that.
But I had my nails dark in my e-pics and loved it. Dark nails are really glam in my opinion! Go for it!

I am getting my nails done in a 'marble' color. It is a mixture of white & light pink (peach). They put 2 diff colors on your nails & then mix them up right on your nails. I love the look!!!!

not sure if i'm doing a french or not, but I may go with a pale pink instead. Maybe Adorable from Essie or Limoscene

Im going to get a permanent french done, the night before I know a great place out by me and they come out pure white, I had them last year and everyone complimented me on how white and great they looked.

im doing french for the wedding but i do think red short nails would look very nice on photos. I love that look.

Me I'm probably going to do a dark burgandy or really dark red. My flowers are mostly dark burgandy (black magic & black baccara roses).

If you want french...the permanent french lasts a very long time....you won't have to worry about chipping because the white part is created with powder.
