I am so upset right now. I had my heart set on Old Westbury gardens but they are having there annual Scottish Festival on my wedding date and I can't take my pics there. I love the way the mansion setting looks in pictures so I am trying to find something similar. I went to look at the Planting fields in Oyster Bay today and Loved the place, it was Beautiful. The only problem is they close at 5pm. My ceremony is in East Islip at 2:30pm. So I don't think we would have enough time to make the 40 minute drive there and still have time for pics. My cocktail hour is at 7pm, so I still have time to take pics after the Planting fields....what does everyone think...I am going out of my mind trying to solve this dilemma...does anyone else feel like they are trying to connect the dots here ???

Re: Wedding day Photo Location
Try to do a search on photo locations. If that doesn't work, try to keep BUMPing your thread. A lot of girls aren't on here at night, or on the weekends.
This site is how I found out about the Holtsville Ecology Center for our pics! Not sure if that's in your area, but FM me if you'd like to know more.

If your ceremony is in East Islip you might want to try the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. It's a lot closer than Old Westbury Gardens, and the pics I've seen on here are beautiful!!

Re: Wedding day Photo Location
I second the Bayard Cutting Arboretum. It's maybe 5 - 10 minutes from East Islip and it's a beautiful spot. You can take pictures by different looking trees, by a lake, by an old wood house, by flowers, etc. The photography permit is $50.
