Wedding day ring question....

Ok so I was told that on the day of your wedding for the ceremony you are supposed to wear your e-ring on your right hand so that the wedding band can go right on and then obviously you can switch your e-ring back over to the left hand after.. My problem is that my e-ring doesnt fit on my right hand!!!! Anyone else have this problem? lol what do I do???

yes my ring does not fit on my right hand so on the day of the wedding I am just going to keep it on my left hand, have FH put the wedding band on and then switch it after the ceremony.

I have the same problem. FH says that he won't marry me if I'm not wearing my E-ring. LOL

so I think I'm going to wear my E-ring for the ceremony and just switch them around after.

my other option is to have my MOH hold my E-ring and just put it on as she hands me my bouquet after the ceremony.

I am not a fan of my e-ring, so I don't plan on wearing it at all on my day

I have the same problem...it dosen't fir on my right hand side. I'm still going to wear it on my left hand side, I will slip it out and put it back on.

This was my other thing! If I get my Wedding Bands to bump out around my E-Ring then it's going to look so weird!

* My E-Ring just fits!

I'm leaving my e-ring on my left hand and having him put the band on top. I want my ring in all my pics and it's too tight on my right hand.

I have a claddagh ring that I wear on my right hand always so that wasn't an option for me. I wore my e-ring on my left hand and then switched them after the ceremony.

my ring fits my right but wearing rings on my right hands feels weird so I am going to leave it on my left or give it to my moh. I dont want to be annoyed by a ring all day. My wedding band is an insert so i would have to take the e-ring off anyway to insert it in the middle

my ering fits on my right but I may wear my mothers blue diamond ring for my something borrowed and something blue on my right so I will wear my ering on my left and then can flip it after. I may wear my band on the outside anyway since my ering is a looser fit and my band will be more fitted

Traditionally you are not supposed to wear any rings on your left hand on your wedding day. Your wedding band is supposed to stand alone. That said, most weddings that I have been to lately, the bride has her e-ring on the left hand and just fixes it after the ceremony.
If you want to wear it, go ahead. It's your wedding!
I am probably wearing mine on my left hand also.

yep! same here. I wore my sisters during the ceremony and then handed it back to her with her bouquet as she went down the isle
