Hey everyone! I was thinking about the day of the wedding and without a hired DOC, who sets up everything? Like the Centerpieces (not just flowers) and the place card table etc. Does the maitre'd do it or am I supposed to have someone go to the RH earlier in the day to set it up?
TIA!

Re: Wedding day Setup w/o DOC
thats a good question! i assumed the florist handles the centerpieces and the RH handles the place cards, menus and programs...but anyone that knows for sure would be helpful so we can prepare!

Re: Wedding day Setup w/o DOC
My florist is setting up the centerpieces, and we are leaving the places cards and menus with the RH for them to set up...

the vendors do it all for you ... you just show up
the maitre d sets up any special items you may have (like ceremony programs, or bubbles).

ITA and i'm pretty sure you just bring everthing there a few days before and they put everything where you want it. If you're that worried (which I know I will be because I'm a perfectionist) you can write out some instructions of where you want everything. But don't worry - these people do this every day and are experts!!

A doc is there to make sure you vision is executed and that everything during the day runs smoothly. They don't necessarily set up things like flowrs

Re: Wedding day Setup w/o DOC
most halls will make you drop off all your stuff a few days before, go over it with them and check off all items you need set up. the only time you ever really need a DOC is if you are at an off premise catering venue or at a place where everything is being set up by you (including tables chairs linens, etc)
