Wedding Day Shoes

I found mine on sale at David's Bridal. They're about 2 1/2' high but when I tried them on with my dress recently my feet started hurting. I'm going to look into getting them shortened.

I want to go to DSW, but a lot of the shoes I like in silver or blue were way too high!

My best friend suggested we go to Nordstrom Rack and get our shoes together. i looked on their site, and nothing jumped out at me and said 'wear me on May 6th!'


macy's has a nice selection, too, so I may go there if I can't get a low heeled shoe at DSW.

You can get the heels shortened???

I'm short (5' and maybe 1' and hubby to be is almost 6 feet tall, so I'm looking for HIGH heels. I can easily walk (even run) in 4 inch heels easily. Any recommendations?

DSW, where I'm having a hard time, at least with on-line inventory, finding something that ISN'T a high-heel! FMIL suggested I get a pair of the high heeled shoes I love for the ceremony and get flats for the reception. warning: there are a lot of nice shoes on their site, so you may be overwhelmed.

I am wondering the same thing??? Where could I have this done?? This would make my search easier if true!!!

I bought mine on Zappos - but I bought about 15 pairs before I kept one.

Hey Ladies! I had seen a pair on Zappos that I loved! But then a friend on facebook posted that they ordered from there one time and all their info was stolen!! 2 or 3 other people commented and said the same thing happened to them!! Not sure if this is the norm but it scared me enough to start searching for a different pair of shoes! Just a friendly FYI! I would hate to see this happen to anyone.

Crashing - Zappos recently had a security breach that was all over the news. If you go in and change your password or create a new account, you should be fine.

I've ordered from them probably a dozen times with no problem whatsoever

Sassy shoes in Nassau county..very comfy and the staff designed my shoes while I was there..they put flowered clips on a plain white shoe and it came out beautiful.
