I was in a bridal party where we started at 9am. We went to a salon and were all done by around 10:30am. We then had lunch, got dressed and took pictures.....and there was ALOT Of down time. It was alittle nervewracking actually. It was just like waiting and waiting and waiting to start! We were holed up for a few hours there! I think later is better but thats just me!
(PS - I am getting up at 5am and have an 11am ceremony. 5am-8am hair and makeup, 9-10:30 start pictures, 11 ceremony!)
Thanks Jenn, that is what I am afraid of. I'm planning extra time because it is a weekend after memorial day in the hamptons, so that complicates everything, but I think i might at least push things back a half hour to an hour...
Gotcha...someone coming to the house?
We're going to the salon in Southampton, and my makeup artist is coming to the house. All the BM's have a different stylist doing their hair, so all in all i think it should take no more than 1.5 hours, once we are there...

our wedding ceremony is at 6pm - my hair stylist suggested she come to the hotel at about 9:30am - she will blow my hair out and set it, then i can relax for a bit while she does our moms and bm's hair, after that she'll come back to me to finish and do one more bm - during that time make up artist will come.....hair stylist says we'll probably be done by 2:30 - i think ill have photo and video come around 1:30 so they can get some photo/video of me finsihing up getting ready as well as FH and his boys, i want to get to JT at about 3 b/c FH and I will be doing pictures before the ceremony. Photographer says she likes about 1 1/2 - 2 hours for pictures - we figure if we are JT our parents and bridal party can hang out while we are doing our alone pictures and then when we need them for pictures they'll be there....hope to be done by 5ish so i have time to relax and freshen up before the wedding ceremony....
