wedding destinations

Hi guys! FH and are possibly, maybe thinking of eloping. I've been playing with the idea for a very long time now, and just recently am getting really excited about it. I'm looking for destination ideas that are breathtakingly beautiful, but not going to kill up financially. Maybe $6000 for a week or so. Any ideas would be great - pictures would be even better! Thank you for your help

How about Hawaii? Or Tahiti? Kind of like at an all inclusive resort? I've never been to either one but they are supposed to be beyond beautiful!

Costa Rica.
Some suggestions:
Si Como No Resort in Manuel Antonio National Rain Forrest
Villas Calletas on a cliff top in Puntarenas
The Marriot Los Suenos
Its all beautiful down there. We didn't get a chance to visit the northern region, but I hear it's even better. There are a few all inclusives there- the Allegro Papagayo comes to mind...
Definitely doa search. Airfare was about $400 round trip. It was so affordable there, we were able to do all the excursions we wanted.

Not really interested in Hawaii (FH went there on his honeymoon for 1st wife, so not exactly what I'm looking for ). Tahiti I absolutely love, but think it's a little too expensive.

I just went to a dw in Aruba. I am not sure about costs, but the wedding was at the Aruba Resort, Spa & Casino (formally the Wyndham). Jet Blue will begin flying to Aruba in September and is running some great deals.

We had an amazing time and the bride & groom were more than happy with how everything turned out. The hotel makes all the arrangements with you, they have wedding planners on site.

I am partial to our location in mexico, but we are also doing a honeymoon in tahitii.

definitely Mexico, the mayan riviera.

I was actually going to have my renewal there but decided in ny instead.

you can also check the destination weddings board at the knot, all the girls are very nice and helpful.

I looked into eloping in Tahiti and I found that any marriage there is not legal in the US
