I can't call this a nightmare because nothing went wrong. It was just very sad. See a friend of FH and I died a couple years ago. It will be three years this coming March and he was so close to us. He was like a brother to FH. We always knew he would be a groomsmen. We hungout with him every single day. He was always with us. So funny and the best friend anyone could ask for. He was in the Marines and did two tours in Iraq so we were so happy to have him home with us for good. Well anyway he died and it was one of the worst times in our lives. After he died the song 'I'll Be Missin You' by P Diddy became his song. The weird thing is I never hear this song on the radio ever. But when something is about to happen in our lives I always hear it. It is a sign from him that everything will be ok. I am so positive that he is always sending me this sign through the song that everything will be ok. So back to my dream. Sorry I had to give a background to it. We are at the alter. And lately I have been thinking about him and getting very upset and emotional that he is not going to be with us on our day and I know FH is upset about this also. So in the dream we are at the alter and we become upset that he isn't there and the song starts to play. It was so weird. Now I can't say it was a nightmare because we want to do something special for him to remember him at our wedding. He was so close to us that it is still so hard after almost 3 years of him not here. He was the sweetest person and if I was upset about something he would just pull me into a hug saying everything would be ok. Its like he comes to me and says the same thing through that song. I am tearing up as I write this. Sorry this is so long. The dream was just so weird and I am so emotional right now I needed to get it off my chest.

so sorry to hear about yours and FH's loss.. when i read this post all i could think of was that it had to have been your friend giving you another sign in your dream.. letting you know that it will be ok, he is watching over you and he will be at your wedding in spirit..

That is how I am taking it. It is just even after three years I am still so upset. I mean we have moved forward and still get very upset. FH has home videos from when they were in high school that we watch (haven't in awhile) but it is amazing how someone can come into your life and affect you this much. I only met him and became close with him when he came home from Iraq and a year later he was gone. It takes a lot for me to get close to someone and trust someone and with him, he is the type to affect your life in a good way. It will just be one of those days today..haha He is going to be on my mind all day. Thanks for you comment though.

Ohhh I had one the other day. I hate waking up with such a panic bec they feel soooo real.

I had a similar dream recently.. right before my grandfather died, I had a dream he was dancing with me on the dance floor at my wedding.. literally a few nights before he passed... background info: He was in his bed.. after an amputation.. couldnt walk.. but he was dancing with me.. so I told him... and he told me he would be there... then... a few days after he died... i dreamt I was at the altar... and he was sitting in the first row... how strange is that!!!! I just know he will be there with me... as well as your friend will be with you... makes you realize they are watching down on us!!!

That made me cry. Like you said that song is a sign that your friend is with you both. I think that's what it means!

Thanks girls. That is weird that you had that dream. I do believe in that stuff though. It will be a happy day but we will be missing him and I know he will be watching us. He couldn't wait til we were married.
