Anyone ever thought of renting a wedding gown. I know a little crazy right. I was just wondering how it works and what selections one would have. I heard you can do the same with BM dresses.

Re: Wedding dress
There is a place called Once Again LTD. They used to be in Patchogue Village, but they closed. I am almost sure there is one at the end of 112 near a Joyce Leslie. The dresses have only been worn once and when I was in the Patchogue one they were really inexpensive. I am sure they will rent one to you.

I thought about it for a hot minute before I got engaged and then once I got engaged, I wanted my very own dress..

LOL I thought about this too especially since I couldn't find a gown.....then I found 'it 'last week and thought I am glad I didn't rent one b/c I am going to love to 'do the dishes' in my gown after the wedding and take it out on Halloween....=)

I don't think it's a crazy idea, after all you're only going to wear your gown once anyway! XOXOXO Kitty

Re: Wedding dress
In Greece they think it is nuts to pay for a wedding gown that u are going to wear for one night.. so they rent them but it costs a pretty penny. like 1500 for a one night rental and of course having it ajdusted to fit. ETA: I wouldnt rent my dress... it is a bit nuts to spend all that money on a dress for one ngiht but who knows I might have a daughter that might want to wear it someday.
