You sound like me except i WISH i had a fitted gown!! I dont have the money to buy something new so im stickin it out with my lovely gown! ( i really do love it though lol) did you try the other dress on?

I did try it one and fell in love because I felt like a princess..I sound 12...lol...but seriously I started obsessing about my dress when FH saw a mermaid dress in a mag and was like I envision you in something so much fancier

awwww..well just know this that even if you wear the 'less fancy' mermaid dress he will be WOWed because YOU will be in it!!

If you really really do not like your current dress and can afford the one you love. I say why not? I think it's goregous. However, you may want to find out how long it would take the bridal store to order the dress in your size. Since your wedding is in June, they may not be able to get the dress in time and this would kinda make the decision for you. Just make sure it's not wedding dress envy... I get that all the time. Wish I had gotten a different style, but I think I'd feel that way no matter what style I got because there are so many good ones!

it just freaked me out that here was this dress i had wanted two years ago what are the chances...ok ok so I actually went browsing through the dresses first and then found it FH comments really did it for me with my dress I guess I'm afraid he won't like it

Id like to see it also. I totally know what your going through because I bought a simple fitted gown with a small train because I am not the big pouffy dress kind of girl. And its not that I want a big pouffy dress I just wonder if I should have gotten a dress with more embellishments on it and not so simple =/
So I totally understand where you are coming from. I would check with the bridal salon and maybe they can order you the dress and get it here on time, but the only thing to be careful about is. Since its last seasons dress the designer may have discontinued it. AND they may not be able to get it to you on time without a rush order which is an extra charge.
Would you lose the money that you have already deposited on your current dress? Or could they move that over to this dress if you decide to order it? Cause that is DEF something to think about also. Is it within the budget to do that.

I would lose everything because I paid in full. I am going back tomorrow to find out if the store can get it to me in time. My other dress is being altered and having things added to it as we speak and I already paid all alterations and everything in full
This dress would run me $800 without alterations since it is from spring 07' she says the price has dropped so much so it's nto that bad you figure there are some dresses triple that...lol....

hun dont go by FH response from a mag pic Im constantly showing FH my gown with diff models sometimes he loves it and most of the times he hates it
but it was on the front page of the wedding section in newsday and he was like OMG this is what you should be wearing i rolled my eyes and said eww no too princess for me lmfao its my gown
FH will be totally wowed save the money get outfits and have one heck of a b-pic session

I Agree, you cant go by your FH response. He can picture you in whatever but when he sees you walking down that aisle hes not going to be thinking 'the mermaid dress is nicer' lol. hes going to be thinking how beautiful you look. I wouldnt waste the money on a new dress based on his comment.
