Where did you buy your wedding dress and why? How did you decide on a suitable bridal salon to trust?

Re: WEDDING DRESS
I got my dress at Lillettes in Baldwin, I went there to look at a different dress (Maggie) because I knew they carried it, didn't like the way it looked on me and fell in love with a different dress. I know people that have gone there for their dresses and haven't had any problems, so I felt comfortable getting my dress there.

Re: WEDDING DRESS
I got mine at Priscilla of Boston in Roslyn. It was the first place I looked as my mother's wedding dress was from Priscilla of Boston and she really wanted me to look there first. So, the 4th dress I tried on was the one, and I was happy because I could keep the little mother daughter tradition alive The people there are so sweet, and would bend over backwards for you. I have heard nothing but rave reviews about them as well!

Re: WEDDING DRESS
I found my dress at Bergdoff Goodman, but decided to price the dress out. Bridal Reflections is the only other salon that carries Ines Di Santo gowns, so I went there to check it out. I really loved the service and people there, so helpful, plus they beat the price at Bergdoffs.

Re: WEDDING DRESS
I got mine at David's Bridal. The only reason I went there was because I really loved the dress and it looked great on me when I tried it on. My first time there, my consultant was great. But after that, I got to really hate David's Bridal. I would not recommend it to anyone for a wedding gown unless the person really really loved a dress there.
I need to get my dress altered but I'm definitely not getting it done at DB; everyone there pissed me off when I went to pick up my dress. And they fired my great consultant before my dress arrived (maybe she was too nice to customers or something; there was nothing wrong with her) so I got stuck with mediocre service.

I went to Kleinfeld in Manhattan. I feel they can be trusted and a very reputable place. They were sooo wonderful to me when I was there.

Re: WEDDING DRESS
I went to burtons bridal. I just called a few stores to see who had the dress i wanted (from a magazine) in stock and they gave me the best price. They were also recommended from many girls on this site and gave me really good prices for alterations (mine and the BM's).
