wedding dress??

Hey guys! Just wondering where everyone bought their wedding dresses.. or if they've been anywhere they really liked.. any suggestions? Thanks!

hi- i haven't started shopping for my dress yet, but i went with my best friend, i'm her MOH, and she actually had a very good experience at kleinfelds in the city...i know they are expensive and have sort of a reputation, but she found her dress there, it was actually the first one she put on...

on another note, my aunt and cousin both work at the bridal reflections in massapequa and i know all the girls in there...they're a great group of people, very friendly, honest...they know their stuff...plus my mother is a makeup artist and does their brides all the time...

I just went to Angel Bridals in E. Islip and had a great experience. They are very accommodating .. Also Village Bridals in Babylon. Good luck!!

I really liked the service at bridal world in baldwin. Janine was super attentive and helped me narrow down the style I liked since that was my first stop dress shopping.

I ended up purchasing my dress from Alexandra Boutique which is a smaller place but a great selection of dresses.

David's Bridal (Massapequa & Lake Grove locations)

I finally found my dress at the Demetrios location in Macy's at Smithhaven Mall.

I bought mine at Kleinfelds and had an amazing experience...huge selection and all of their staff was super friendly and sweet

I got mine from the wedding center of Commack but I don't recommend them because their service sucks but their prices are good. Do not go to Princess Bridal they are the worst

I bought a dress from bridal reflections when i was a Bridesmaid in a friends wedding.. i will have to check out the bride section! And I guess I'll have to get myself over to Kleinfeld's.. I've only heard good things so far.. ALSO.. thanks for catching that on my profile! I guess I put a 4 instead of a 2 because I'm actually a 2012 bride : )

I looked at some fancy boutiques but truthfully, I was the happiest at the smaller less frilly bridal shops. At the others they were not very friendly and said that if I didn't plan on spending at least $3000 I was wasting my time in their shops....and they said that without knowing my budget!!!!!

If you find something you like online sometimes the shops can order it for you.

I love village bridal in babylon. the consultants who work there dont work on commission so they are not as pushy as other places.

This!! I LOVED VILLAGE BRIDAL!! I will be writing their company a letter. I was SO pleased with them. Their customer service is top notch and their alterations were wonderful!!

I bought my dress at RK Bridal in the city and had a great experience.

I also shopped at the following places:

Bridal Reflections Massepequa - Great Experience, very nice dresses

David's Bridal Westbury - 1st place I visited, had a great experience, tried on alot of gowns, great sales girl.

Macy's Manhasset - Demetrios Salon, had a nice experience with the staff here.

Macy's Herald Square - Did not like the sales staff here at all. The sample dress I went there to try on was in horrid shape, ripped, filthy. The sales ppl there were all very pushy.
