How did you know your dress was the one??? Did you get a special feeling inside, did you cry, did you know???

I didn't cry. I had something very specific in my head wouldn't rest until I found it. I had tried on about 40 dresses at 4 different stores and finally at the last one the second dress I tried on was the only one I wanted to put back on after I took it off......it was as close to what I'd had in my head all along!

I started crying before the attendant even laced up the back of my dress (I'm NOT a cryer). I knew the minute I tried it on.

I had tried on almost 50 dresses and was beginning to lose hope. But once I tried on the dress, I just knew. Everything about it felt so right. I was struggling between two dresses so I tried them on one after the other and I just knew that the one I chose was the one.

Re: Wedding Dress
I didn't cry, but my mom did lol. It was the very first dress I tried on, and I knew I loved it and kept going back and trying it on multiple times and comparing everything to it but I was afraid to commit because it was the first dress I put on! after trying about 50 more dresses I bought it.

After trying on a bunch of dresses I knew mines was the one after I came out the room and saw my girls reactions. They got super excited. My consultant put the veil and headpiece on and I had this wow feeling. I didnt cry but I got teary eyed. I was mostly just excited. I kept staring at myself and walking around in the dress. I kept saying... this dress has everything I want... bling, sweetheart neckline, drama, etc and I didnt want to take the dress off!! Thats how I knew for sure!

For me, I knew exactly what I was looking for, so it was more of a 'Yeah, this is it right here' moment and the first dress I tried on. I still tried on about 5-8 more but that was more for fun. :)

I felt like a bride the second I put it on. when I stepped out of the dressing room everyone loved it. I then tried on 10 more dresses but nothing compaired I put my dress back on and we all cried.

Had the exact same experience. It was the first gown I tried on...I felt so 'bridal' but the dress felt like it was me at the same time. Everyone loved it and kept comparing every dress to that one.

Yea I think I have the 'one' I just want to go to a couple more stores :) I was just wondering if it was normal I didn't cry...But the more I think about it, I don't think I would want anyone else to have this gown...And I am thinking that's a good sign :)

I'm not a big crier, and neither is my mom, sister, or BFF so I wasn't expecting anyone to cry (and they didn't)...I knew because I tried on a variety of styles and found one that fit the original description that I had in my head and made me look 'bridal'...aka not too plain or nightgowny)...it was also modern yet had traditional elements and best of all made me look skinniest!

Not everyone cries when they find the one. I was expecting to cry like some of the girls on Say Yes to the Dress when I found my dress but instead, I just knew. My mom and my future in laws didn't cry either. Guess we're just not very emotional people, haha.

My sister was in the dressing room with me as soon as I got it over my head I looked down and I got this huge smile when I looked down at it when I looked back up, she smiled back and said 'oh my god....you're done!' I said I'm done and we both started laughing when I walked out to show the others it didn't matter what they said I just looked at my mom and shook my head yes. Mom says she wasn't in love with it but could tell I was.

Being an indecisive and pretty unemotional person generally, i didn't cry or get a particular 'feeling' at that moment. I seem to second guess myself with everything with the wedding which really sucks, but i kept going back to the dress i chose multiple times. I thought about it a lot and after putting a deposit down for a different one i actually saw the dress on say yes to the dress (first time ever that it was on it, i dvr the episodes lol) that very night! I called the next day and switched the order. Sometimes i still wonder if it was the right choice but i usually go with my gut and it works out for the best, i think once it comes in and i try it on i'll fall in love again.Welcome New Vendors
