Wedding dress advice

I got engaged last year after waiting 8.5 years. As soon as I got engaged I ran to to try on wedding dresses. I thought I found the the dress, a Winnie couture gown called katarina (it's the first dress in the first column). I was also supposed to have a destination wedding and thought that was a great compromise bc it was classy and very me.

Fast forward almost a year later, destination was canceled and now I am having my wedding at a much nicer RH, and now I feel like my dress is not nice enough I am thinking that maybe the Brielle ( second dress in second column) would be better

What do you guys think.? Is my original dress fancy enough!? Am I just crazy to even want a new dress!?

I think your dress is beautiful, elegant and fancy enough! That being said though, if you feel it isn't nice enough for your venue and have the financial means to do so, get a new dress. I personally like your current dress better then the Brielle, I'm sure it looks amazing on you

I actutally think the Katarina is nicer!! This dress is gorgeous and honestly I can't imagine too many venues where this wouldn't be dressy enough!! You picked a BEAUTIFUL dress..

Thank you everyone! I am going to keep my original dress. I do love her and i hated every other dress until inbound her. I just needed some reassurance that I made the right choice.

Noelle lol I know you were right

I agree with your decision! This is a lovely dress and you can make it more or less formal depending on your headpiece, your hairstyle, your bouquet and your jewelry. Its a great dress!

Well, there are many options! You might consider a tiara(I love them!) and a long, decorated veil, or a shorter one with the satin trim around the edges, which I think looks very elegant.
For jewelry, you might think about a wide, diamond/crystal choker which would mirror the waist sash on your dress. Also, your hair up and/or in an elaborate partial updo would look very formal.
A very structured bouquet as opposed to the wildflower look would also look more formal.
I think its a very elegant style and because its classic, you can do so much with it.

omg the sammme thing happened to me! except i chose a mermaid with ruffles. it was very fun for a destination wedding- but def not westbury manor imo. BUT in your case, your first choice would absolutely be formal and elegant enough for any wedding! i love it its gorgeous! but both are gorgeous you will be fine with whatever you chose! i love the first
