Wedding Dress - Cheap?

I'm not a huge fan of the word 'cheap' i guess because it has a negative connotation! But, I really want to look for something REASONABLY priced. A friend of a friend got a dress from David's Bridal that was a sample dress and/or clearance rack.. I realize this limits my selection but to spend a couple hundred less than a full priced gown, i would totally do that. Does anyone know of other places that others your you have found these sort of 'bargain' deals?

I got my dress at Davids in Massapequa and was very happy(not using the alterations department,got my own seamstress)

Wedding Dress - Cheap?

I went to RK Bridal. Spent $600 on my dress and love it! And I'm a plus sized girl. I can imagine if I was not plus sized, I'd have even more options there. I know they also have a clearance rack, but I never got to look there.

I tired on a $1200 dress i loved and then found it previously worn on tradesy.com for $270 in my size and already hemmed to my height and bustled. only issue is I'm top heavy and the other girl had chest taken in and pads added, I'm hoping it can be taken out without costing an arm and a leg.
