First of all i love love love the mermaid style one (the second link). I think its beautiful... I personally think you should go with what you feel best in and what you like.. not what you think you should get. Its your wedding and no matter what style you choose you are going to look stunning. Maybe you should go try on some more styles to get a better idea?

i love the mermaid dress!!!!!!! it is definetly sexy yet still elegant and somewhat ball room like. not as tight mermaid as i had imagined.

Just beacause its the one day you can look like a princess does not mean that you have to pick a ballgown to look like one. You will look beautiful no matter what you do.

I think the look I'm going for is Chic and fashion forward. It's just that I am so indecisive and I can't commit to picking one.

I tried on all styles and the ballgown and mermaids are the ones I liked the most.

I think that you need to wear the one that makes you feel the best, the mermaid one is my fav. and if chic and fashion forward is what you want I would go for the mermaid. Also you do not want to have any regrets, so do not get what you think you should have, but the one that makes you feel beautiful!

you will look amazing in both dresses. i'm not a huge fan of trumpet because i don't look good in them but you will look great. just go with your gut and you will pick the perfect dress.

Take it from me...if you're having doubts, don't buy it.
I bought a mermaid, and now I'm having the same thoughts, that this is my only real chance in life to wear a ballgown, and I passed it up. I kind of regret that my dress is so simple now.
But after all is said and done, I know that it's the dress that looked best on me, so I just have to deal with it haha.

Do you get 'the feeling' when you tried on either dress? If not, I would say keep looking. Both dresses are beautiful and I do not think you can go wrong
