i was told today that my dress was m.i.a after having to call back b/c i never recieved a phone call letting me know if my dress was in or not.
I must've scared the girl i was talking to b/c if you have never seen me flip out, it seriously is a scary thing. i completely unleashed the beast on her.
needless to say i get a phonecall an hour or so later telling me my dress is getting shipped tomorrow and will be at Lillette's May 7 and I now have a May 8th fitting.
i'm not holding my breath.
*** is wrong with this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! do NOT order from them ladies...i've never been so distraught with a company before and this isn't the only thing that they've done.
i just can't wait to write my review on them

At least they were able to find it and its beingshipped. Can you go somewhere else for fittings? I wouldnt trust them

OMG Alyssa! I'm SO sorry to hear this! It's amazing that we dealt with the same store, because in all honesty, I didn't have any problems.
But I would definitely look for some sort of compensation from them

You've heard my story...
Tell them exactly what you want. More than once if you must.
You can do fittings with one month to go... I did, but it was stressful and I hated it, but that was more of a 'I am gimpy... how long are you going to make me STAND LIKE THIS' kind of a thing.. which you won't be dealing with.
My seamstress did an awesome hem on me, which is not easy considering I can't stand up straight... other things I needed to coach her on. She did what asked and I was happy with the outcome.
HOWEVER, she did make alterations and then tell me that I would be picking up the dress without trying it on one last time.. so I had to get a final fitting in about three days before the wedding... and picked my dress up Thursday... wedding on Saturday.
And I hate their sales team. a lot. But in the grand scheme of things, Lyss... this won't matter. You will look beautiful and your dress will be 1 million different kinds of awesome. Trust me.

Holy Crykies!! The same thing happened to me....I never received a call from them. Then I call them to find out W*T*H is going on. They tell me sorry it's not here yet, and when they called the manufacturer, they said that it would be in within a week. That was last week and the dress is in today. So hopefully, yours comes in when you expect it.

sorry you are having such a hard time with them ! dont worry your fittings will be fine. my are being done within 1 month of my wedding, just had my first yesterday

oh no !!!! does anyone have any info on the Wedding Salon of Manhasset? I ordered my dress in Jan 2010 and i think it should be in March 2011.. I told themmy wedding was 2 weeks before the real date to avoid lateness.. i hope everything works out for u xoxo
