So I've found the dress but here's the dilemma. I originially found the dress at bridal suite of centereach. the customer service was pretty good nothing spectacular but they were nice, however I don't know anything about their alterations department. also if i order from them before september 10th i get a free crystal belt which i want for my dress anyway. it turns out village bridal also carries my dress. i went dress shopping there a couple of weeks ago and i absolutely loved my experience and my consultant. again though i dont know much about their alterations.
can anyone tell me about either Village bridal or bridal suite of centereach alterations department? also which salon would you choose?

Re: Wedding dress help
I llooooove village bridal!
i got my dress there and they have been nothing but amazing! they have been so accomodating with my crazy schedule as well as my 3 BMs difficult schedule
the seamstress has made exceptions for me to fit me in
so far all the work has been perfect, no complaints what so ever! the seamstress really seems to know here stuff, said she has been doing this for 15+ years
i cant say enough good things about them!
i would go to village bridal and tell them that you want to work with them but that another store offered a free crystal belt...i bet you they would throw it in to earn your business!
i told them i saw my dress somewhere for cheaper and they dropped the price immediately without any problems
i would do searches on both salons, if prices are equal and both give you free belt...id go with whatever salon made you happiest
or if both reviews are good, then id go with whichever salon was cheapest
HTH!
wanted to add that i had more than just regular alterations, added rhinestones to my dress and converted my dress from one shoulder to sweetheart and both were done impeccably!

Re: Wedding dress help
From a bride's point of view, I can't give an opinion on either place. My mother, however, got her MOB dress (and alterations done) at Bridal Suite Centereach. As far as I know, she's had nothing less than a great experience with them.
