wedding dress-off the rack

My boss, who just got engaged last week, is planning on a very simple wedding July 4. She's looking for a wedding gown that wouldn't have to be ordered something just off the rack. I've only been to wedding salons that have you order them, but I knew you girls would know somewhere that she could find a nice simple bridal gown. She's also coming from Southampton so Suffolk or eastern Nassau would be ideal. Thanks so much.

Thanks, I'll have her try that. I loved Adriennes, I wish I could have bought my dress there but they didn't carry it.

David's Bridal is off the rack if they have your size. I got my dress there, but they had to order it because they didn't have it in white, only ivory, in my size.

They are in Carle Place. I'm not crazy about the service at that place, but it might help your friend.

You can try David's Bridal, Estelle's or a Jessica McClintock store...they all have dresses you can buy off the rack : ).

Bridal suite of Bayshore, they are very nice
and willl let you buy off the rack/////

There are a ton in the city, so if she's willing to make the trip it'd be worth it. FM me if you're interested in the names of the places.

Look for sample sales on the island.

I think almost any store will sell you the sample if it fits I know for sure that Klienfelds will, the wedding salon in manhasset, iman bridal couture in old brookville, amsale in the city etc. etc. etc.

You can go to Wedding Center of Commack, they have a second building where they do all the alterations, and they have dresses on sale off the rack at 1/2 price.
