How much did you or do you plan on spending on your dress?

i was planning on spending between $1,000 and $1500

When i found the 'one' it turned out to be under 1K

i was thrilled and i absolutely love it !

My mom was buying my dress and planned on $3500-$5000. BUT! I spent less than $1000 on my dress and I think we got the deal of a lifetime!

my dress was about $2800, alterations were $600and the veil was $500.

after alterations and such i paid about $1600 for my dress

After alterations and tax my dress totals $2900.

Def more than we were planning on spending, but I just fell in love with the dress.

Planned for under 1000.... it ended up being 1200 and then Mom surprised me by paying for it!!

before alterations the dress was $1600 - with it will probably be around $1850-$1900

My mom was planning on at least $2K for my dress, but we were at Macys during some sort of a trunk show and got a discount, which also applied to the veil(s), so my dress (a demetrios), a cathedral length and a fingertip veil will all cost me $1700, which would have been over $2k.

The saleswoman brought me out another dress that I liked a lot and had a great color but it was silk and cost $2500+ itself. My mom wanted that one saying 'cost isn't an issue', just because she was so excited, but I couldn't justify an additional thousand dollars over another one that I also really liked. I told her if she wants to spend anothr $1000 I'm sure I'll find things for her to spend it on.

I budgeted for $1500. I went to a trunk show for my designer and ended up getting my dress for a steal ... $695!!!!!!! Needless to say, I was thrilled!
