Wedding Dress-Purchase same day, Please help!!!

Hi guys, need your help. I have a cousin whose coming from the Dominican Republic to purchase her dress for her August 2001 wedding, yep just three months away, talk about pressure. Anyway, I need your help in finding bridal stores that we can buy off the rack, besides David's Bridal. Money is no issue for her (don't I wish). Please help, any and all suggestions appreciated. Side note I am still in the search for junio bridesmaids dresses for my Oct 2001 wedding any suggestions??? Thanks in advance

There is a place on Montauk Hwy in Lindenhurst I think its Renne's that had a selection of off the rack gowns in various sizes. I really didnt look at them so I cant give you any details. I just remember being surprised at how many they had. There is also a big warehouse place that advertises in the local wedding mags, it might be in PA. My neighbors daughter in law bought her gown there, from what I hear they have a large selection. Ill try to find out more.

I have heard of the PA ones too. I think there are 2 though. Might only be one but they advertise in Modern Bride or Brides. I actually spoke with someone the other day whos daughter is going there, she knew some friends who purchased dresses from there and said they were very helpful, nice quality and 1/3 of the price it would be here!!!

Most stores have samples they are willing to sell at a discount. She will be very lucky if she is around a size 10. That is the size most stores keep as samples. If she wants a tank style dress- Demetrios- she can buy mine for a small fee. I was married last year and was going to sell my dress soon. There may be some other recent brides willing to help her out too. About a year ago someone on here had a dress horror story, and other girls offered to lend their dresses to her. Just let us know and we will be glad to help.

Junior bridesmaids dresses- help!!!

My cousin bought their junior bridesmaids dress at Cathy`s bridal in Lindenhurst on Sunrise Hwy.I dont know what kind of service etc they received, but i was relieved to find that there was a store to purchase them. I too will be going there in the near future to see what they have for my jr. bridesmaid. Good luck!

Thank you all for your great suggestions and help. We will definitely go check out bridal town. I also thought she could purchase a sample, I am just not quite sure what size she'll be. As soon as she gets to town I will let you know what happens. Thanks again.
