Wedding Dress Question

Where did you ladies get your dress from?
&
What kind of style is it?

I want to go dress shopping after the holidays and trying to get an idea of what kind of style to get.

TIA

Helen's private collection. They have all kinds of brands and styles.
I originally ordered a Maggie Sottero Mona Lisa Royale (A-line - ballgown style) , but had to change it. So now I have a (Mermaid Style) Demetrios 959

sounds beautiful!

I don't know if I should go with ballgown or an A-Line. I'm not a ballgown type of girl, but since were having around 200 people invited... my FMIL thinks I should get a big dress to stand out.

ITA!! Try on as many gowns as possible, all different styles and get the one that flatters you the most... NOT what FMIL thinks is appropriate!!

Re: Wedding Dress Question

I got mine from RK Bridal in the city. It's an A-Line and I LOVE it. I'm not really a ball gown kind of girl, and I thought i wanted something much tighter, but this one really suited my body.

Re: Wedding Dress Question

I got mine at The Wedding Plaza in Floral Park on Jericho Turnpike. It's a Pronovias dress that is strapless and a sweetheart neck. It is a corset on top and then a little poofy on the bottom. Pictures are in my album.
